The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai formerly and commonly known as the Bombay Municipal Corporation is the governing civic body of Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra. It is India's richest municipal corporation. Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai in collaboration with Markenzo, executed an Outdoor & Digital Corona-Virus Awareness Campaign in March 2020, to educate the masses about the preventive measures to be taken to avoid the spread of this disease. Around 1,200 hoardings were displayed across the city - from North to South Mumbai. ​ ​ The communication language used was direct (English & Marathi) and the designs created were simple.as per the brief given by MCGM as it was the onset of this virus in our city and the graveness of the situation had to be communicate d to the masses without sugarcoating the facts and guidelines. ​ This will go down as one of the biggest outdoor campaigns in Markenzo’s history as this opportunity to display our creatives across 1200 hoardings was a rare opportunity. As this requirement was an urgent one, Markenzo completed the first (approved) draft within 6 hours post which the hoardings were up across Mumbai the very next morning. Markenzo is proud to have been a part of this massive CSR activity which helped in creating awareness about Corona-Virus amongst the Mumbaikars.
